Just give me a moment please

Okay I need to vent. I hate being pregnant. Yes, I know that hate is a strong word, that is why I am using it. I really love the end product but the process is just miserable. I wish I was one of those cute moms who doesn't even notice that they are pregnant, who feels great and works out everyday until the day they deliver - but I am NOT. I have no energy, I want to sleep all day, I am nauseous all the time and the things that I normally enjoy (like Dr. Pepper) make me want to throw up!! Seriously do we have to completely turn my world upside down to do this? Another problem I have is that I don't mind not fitting into my clothes while I am pregnant but the fact that it takes almost a year AFTER I have the baby to get back into my regular clothes really ticks me off. Who wants to wear different sizes of clothes for a year and a half? And, who wants to spend money on those clothes? Okay, I am feeling a little bit better after letting that all out. I am really excited for the new little spirit that will be a part of our family but the process of getting them here needs to be changed!

Utah in October

So we went for a week to visit my family in Utah. We had such a good time and we were able to enjoy some real fall weather - and a little winter weather as well. One of the days we were there it snowed! So, Ryan, Jamie and Ava stayed at my parents most of the time we were there which was really fun and Jamie and I took the girls to the zoo one day. If you can't tell by the pictures - we were FREEZING! It was one of the fastest trips I have ever taken to the zoo. We rented the two seater stroller and put all three of them in. Then Jamie and I literally ran them around to the animals. All in all we were not there much longer than a half hour. Next time we need to dress warmer or go to the Phoenix zoo - the weather at the Phoneix zoo is just starting to get nice! So another day Jamie made sugar cookies and then we let the girls frost them. As you can tell by the pictures they thoroughly enjoyed it! London didn't eat any of the cookie, she just licked the frosting off - not a bad idea! On Saturday we went down to Provo and went to Cafe Rio with everyone and then we dropped the girls off with one of Jamie's cousins. She babysat the girls while we all went to the BYU football game. Part of the reason we made the trip to Utah was so we could meet the boy Rachel has been dating - Braden Brown. They are all in love :) and so we needed to meet him. He is so cute and we had a great time getting to know him. He is playing on the BYU football team (he is red shirting this year) so that is why we have to watch every BYU football game for the next few years! When we went to the game we sat in Braden's parents seats that are right behind the players and very close - it was so much fun to be that close-I just love football and fall!!! Anyway, we had a fabulous trip and of course we went to eat at the Dodo and Hires a couple of times to make our trip complete! We can't wait to visit again!

Ready or Not Here Comes #3

I had a pretty good week last week with lots of exciting things going on. I got my braces off!!! I feel like an adult again. It is so nice to eat and not have everything stick in my braces. It is such a weird feeling. I went in for my checkup and they said we would make an appointment to get my braces off in one month. So I had to do some negotiating. I said I am going to Utah to see my family next week and it would be so nice to show them my new pretty smile. This almost convinced my orthodontist - but not quite. So I had to give him the news. I said - I am pregnant and you cannot have braces and be pregnant. I had to wait until I lost the baby fat from London to get my braces on and I was planning on having my braces off before we got pregnant with the next one. But, suprise suprise we are pregnant! So that convinced him and he took my braces off right then!! Yeah, I knew I liked him. :) So, the other news. I am pregnant, not very far along and due in May. This came unexpectedly but we are really excited! So far I haven't been sick and I am hoping for the best!
